c2c Timetable Change - 23rd Nov
INFORMATION FROM C2C RAIL
From Monday 23 November, c2c will operate a new timetable with fewer services.
Like all businesses, Coronavirus has affected our staff availability and we can no longer deliver our current timetable reliably. Passenger demand has also fallen significantly in the past fortnight. Therefore we are introducing a more sustainable and resilient timetable, which should result in fewer short-notice cancellations. You can download the new timetable here.
With this new timetable, we have focused capacity on the current busiest times of travel and have made limited reductions to:
- School trains to Southend in the morning peak, with five successive 12-car trains now arriving in Southend between 07.20 and 08.40
- Early morning services, which are now busier than late-morning trains. In particular we will be increasing capacity on the earliest trains of the day
- Late-afternoon trains, as these are now typically busier than services leaving London after 18.00
We remain committed to providing a dependable and reliable service. Throughout 2020 we have made timetable adjustments, as both staff availability and passenger demand has fluctuated. We will continue monitoring passenger numbers closely in the coming weeks, and will make further changes as necessary.
More information can be found here and you can download the new timetable here.
