Small Pan Fire in Kitchen – Friday 3rd July 2015

Staff and pupils at St. Clere’s were briefly evacuated this afternoon due to a small chip pan fire in our kitchen which was dealt with immediately.
All fire drill procedures ran smoothly and fire crew attended and assessed the situation before we allowed pupils back into the building.
Thank you to staff and pupils for acting so responsibly.

Co-op Identity Mark

Litter Pick

As a part of Co-op Day, where students different aspects of achieving goals through co-operation, a group of School Council Representatives spent two hours on Friday voluntarily picking up litter in the local area. The students cleared seven bin bags full of rubbish, much of it from the car park in the Town Centre.

Cash for Young Carers

Thanks to all to contributed to the recent non-uniform day for Young Carers.  Pupils were asked to wear something yellow in support of this fantastic charity and the event raised an amazing £704!
