Inter-House Creative Writing Competition
Last week, the year seven and eight students of St Clere's School participated in a spooky, supernatural creative writing competition!
Each pupil was challenged to write an engaging short story about the paranormal. We received many excellent entries from our talented pupils working from home.
The winner of the entire competition was Amariah Oguleye from Gordon House in year seven, Amariah wrote a fantastic story called "Hiders and Seekers" and will receive a voucher, certificate and many vivos as prizes for her fantastic work.
In joint second place are Riley Everett (year seven), Michaela Hardy (year eight) and Mudiaga Abutoh (year eight), who also wrote some brilliant short stories and will receive vivos and certificates as well.
Pupils also earned points for the effort they put into their creative writing. The overall winning house for the best effort in their creative writing was Wallace House, with Brandon House at a close second and missing out by only two points! Overall, well done to Amariah and for winning and thank you to everyone who took part.
