St Clere's School

In line with good practice and to further raise academic standards in our community the Governors of both schools intend to work in a closer level of co-operation. We believe competition between schools wastes precious resources.

This new partnership will be overseen by a joint Governors sub-committee equally representing both schools. We intend to work in partnership to plan a joint 14 – 19 programme including the delivery of the new diplomas. We intend to share resources and expertise to provide improved value for money. The specialist school status, which both schools enjoy, will be developed to further support our feeder schools.

We intend to pro-actively meet the rapidly changing local and national agenda together to benefit the whole community. There is no immediate change of circumstance for our students and we shall consult with all parents as we develop our plans.
