Guide to Numeracy

Numeracy at home – spending at least 20 minutes a day on the following will greatly increase the chance of your child fulfilling their potential.

Visit www.mymaths.co.uk.  This is numeracy website we subscribe to which covers core elements of the National Curriculum. There are booster packs that are specifically aimed at helping your child move to the next level.  studentsobtain their own personal log-in details from their teacher, this ensures they are working on the correct booster pack and enables Mymaths to record scores for each activity. This give parents, students and teachers a clear indication on the areas of strength and development.  The username and password parents/carers need to access this website can be obtained from the pupil’s teacher.

All students are welcome to attend Homework Club which runs during lunchtime 1.05-1.50pm in ICT4 from Monday to Wednesday and Thursday after school.  This is an opportunity for students to receive support with completing maths homework.

Please visit the links below and read our Numeracy Policy below to understand what and how your child is being taught – we really appreciate your support in developing your child’s numeracy skills.
