Pupils' Christmas Cakes

Our year 9 Hospitality and Catering students have been making Christmas cakes this half term.

They started off by making a rich fruit cake, which was followed by a marzipan and then fondant icing.

The pupils researched ideas, which they adapted to their own design and were encouraged to make their own decorations.

The standard of the finished cakes this year is exceptional.
