Para Karate Champion

Harry Elves, 10C1, trains at Vera’s Academy Karate Association and competes in the Para-Karate Kata for Learning Difficulties and able-bodied Para-Karate Kata.

Last year his greatest achievement, as well as several medals - most of them gold - was the British Karate Federation International, where he took yet another gold to become British Champion.

2018 also kicked off with a bang for Harry – so far this year he has won a gold in the English Karate Federation Kyu grades, another gold in the UK Open Championships and a bronze in the Chadwell Heath Karate Academy Open Championships.

Last week Harry achieved a first-class pass in his 3rd Kyu grading and finished off the week with a bronze medal in the English Karate Federation National Championships.

As a result of Harry's hard work and persistence, the Spanish Para Karate Federation have invited him to visit Majorca at the end of May to represent England and his club.

Congratulations on your achievements Harry and we all wish you every success in Spain next month.
